Practice Protection Plan (PPP)

A controlled, practice-specific plan connecting responsibilities, decision rights, limits, fallbacks, evidence and professional or provider interfaces.

What the PPP is

A working protection structure, not a forgotten file.

The PPP converts approved decisions into clear instructions covering responsibility, authority, timing, limits, fallback, escalation and supporting evidence. It is the completed operational outcome of the Practice Protection Implementation: Stage 1 establishes and tests the position through the Guided Governance Review, and Stage 2 converts those decisions into the completed PPP.

What it connects
01 · PEOPLE

Responsibility

Primary people, backups, professional eligibility and accepted roles.

02 · DECISIONS

Authority and limits

What may be decided, within which limits, and what must escalate.

03 · ACCESS

Systems and evidence

Information, provider access, authentication dependencies and supporting records.

04 · TIME

Fallback over time

What changes across the first hours, days, weeks and an extended absence.

Adviser aligned

PCO does not replace the people who must formally approve specialist matters.

Legal advice, accounting advice, regulated professional sign-off, bank/provider approval and other formalisation remain with the relevant adviser, institution or registered professional. PCO brings the operating decisions together and identifies what needs their confirmation.
